Meet The Dogs Ready To Be Loved

There’s hundreds of different breeds out there, and all have different needs. Some breeds are only suitable for certain types of homes too. However, no dog should routinely be left on its own for long periods as this can lead to behavioural problems that are distressing for both you and your dog. If you have a question about a government service or policy, you should contact the relevant government organisation directly. If you own or are responsible for a dog, and fail to meet its welfare needs or cause it unnecessary suffering, you may be prosecuted. With 221 pedigree dog breeds, finding one that's perfect for you can be difficult.

You need to understand how big a time commitment your new dog will be. Will they be very active and require lots of long walks or will they need short regular bursts of activity? Dogs usually get on well with other dogs in the same household, but they may still need time to get to know each other when introduced. However, dogs will need to have their own space and places to get away from other dogs if they want to. For queries or advice about employment rights, contact the Labour Relations Agency. We are celebrating 150 years of 'Making a difference to dogs' and how in the future we will be 'Making a difference to dogs and their owners'.

They felt that the response did not directly address the request of petition and have therefore written back to the Government to ask them to provide a revised  response.

Under the 2014 Act, local authorities can also use Public Space Protection Orders to deal with a particular nuisance or problem arising in an area by imposing conditions on the use of that area. We recognise that some people are opposed to the prohibitions placed on the four types of dog under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991. However, HM Government must balance the views of those who want to repeal or amend breed specific legislation with our responsibility to ensure that the public is properly protected from dog attacks.
